COLUMBIA, S.C. – It's Greek Day at The Hive as well as one of the most anticipated contests on the schedule arrives today as Allen University welcomes Benedict College to John Hurst Adams Gymnasium. This will be a pivotal SIAC Basketball Doubleheader with both matchups carry major implications in a crowded conference race.

WOMEN'S GAME — 2:00 PM

Battle for Sole Possession of 4th Place in the SIAC East

The Lady Yellow Jackets (7–5 SIAC) and Lady Tigers (7–5 SIAC) enter today tied for 4th place in the competitive SIAC East Division.

With both teams fighting for postseason positioning, today's winner will secure sole possession of 4th place with the stretch run approaching.

Key Player to Watch

Jasmine Norman (7.0 PPG, 20 made threes) – A perimeter threat who stretches defenses and keep driving lanes open for teammates without help being able to fully commit. If Norman is able to get clean looks at the basket versus Benedict - she could have a career day with all eyes on who will step up and lead AU.

Key Players to Watch

Tavaris Bell (17.2 PPG) – A dynamic scorer who can take over stretches offensively. If Bell can get loose against Benedict and gain confidence early - he could stir the energy ina team ready for a breakout game.
