Fabian Duncan Named SIAC Offensive Player of the Week After Another Record-Breaking Night

Sophomore back continues to etch his name into the Allen University history books, breaking his own records with a jaw-dropping 46-carry, 241-yard, 3-touchdown performance in a 49-38 win over Clark Atlanta.

Columbia, SC — When the lights come on, Fabian Duncan doesn't flinch — he flourishes.

In front of another roaring home crowd, the sophomore running back delivered a performance that will live in Allen University football history books. On Monday, the SIAC made it official, naming Duncan the SIAC Offensive Player of the Week — and for good reason.

Just two weeks removed from breaking Allen's all-time rushing records, Duncan broke his own marks in a dominant 49-38 victory over Clark Atlanta University. He tallied:

  • 46 carries (new school record)
  • 241 rushing yards (new school record)
  • 3 touchdowns

All while battering defenders, controlling the tempo, and once again showing that he's one of the most dangerous backs in all of Division II football.

"All the glory goes to God first, and honestly this award belongs to my teammates — my O-line, my quarterback Jamir, and our coaches," said Duncan. "I just run hard and trust the guys in front of me. DA VISION really saw things clearly out there."

A Historic Night in Pearl Vision

The vision that Head Coach Cedric Pearl laid out this offseason is beginning to materialize — and Duncan has become one of its most vital pieces.

"Congratulations to Fabian Duncan on his award and breaking the Allen record," said Coach Pearl. "That was a historic night — something I'll always remember being a part of. To carry the ball 46 times and rush for 241 without injury is a testament to the work he puts into his strength and conditioning. We look forward to him doing it again… just maybe not that many carries," he added with a chuckle.

"Setting two school records is a legacy he'll be able to tell his kids about one day."

With this latest performance, Duncan continues to embody what "Pearl Vision" is all about — toughness, discipline, and relentless execution.

Legacy in Motion

What Duncan is doing isn't just impressive — it's historic. Through just three games, he's already accumulated over 380 rushing yards, five touchdowns, and has become the single-season and single-game record holder in both carries and yards.

And here's the kicker: he's only a sophomore.

With a full conference slate ahead and momentum building, Duncan is officially on pace to break the all-time career rushing record at Allen University. But records aside, Duncan has his eyes on a bigger prize:

"The stats are cool, but I just want to help my team win. A conference title — that's the goal," he said.

And if Duncan keeps running like this — and DA VISION keeps seeing things this clearly — that goal is no longer just a dream. It's within reach.
