In recent news, in a night dedicated to empowerment and visibility, Allen University's women's athletics programs were proudly recognized during Women in Sports Night hosted by the Columbia Fireflies at Segra Park.
The university was invited to participate in this special event, which brought together female athletes, coaches, and leaders from across the region to inspire the next generation of young girls in sports and celebrate the role of women in athletics. All eight of Allen's sponsored women's teams were in attendance for the on-field ceremony:
- Basketball
- Cross Country
- Soccer
- Softball
- Track & Field (Indoor/Outdoor)
