SALISBURY, N.C. --- Allen softball fell by a close-margin in each game of Tuesday's doubleheader at Livingstone College, as Livingstone won game one, 1-0, and game two, 6-5.
GAME 1:

Naziha Alfred threw 6.0 innings for the Yellow Jackets and struck out a pair of Livingstone batters. On the offensive side,
Destiny Breton and
Anjellet Corner both doubled in the effort.
GAME 2:
After trailing 2-0 after two innings, Allen managed to cut the defecit in half as
Tania Shoulders scored on a wild pitch in the third. Livingstone extended their lead to 6-1 in the fifth on a pair of base hits and a wild pitch. However, Allen mounted a rally beginning in the sixth as Breton scored on a wild pitch for the Yellow Jackets' second run of the game. Then in the seventh, with the bases-loaded,
Alaina Harvey cleared the bases with a two-out three RBI double to center field, bringing Allen within one run of Livingstone's lead. But, Allen's rally would fall one run short as Harvey was stranded at second base. On the pitching side,
Elissa Rich struck out six batters over 6.0 innings of work.
