St. Augustine, F.L. --- Allen softball was unable to overcome a pair of strong pitching performance in Wednesday's doubleheader at Flagler, falling in five innings in game one, 18-0, and in game two, 9-0. 

Flagler's pitching staff held Allen hitless through the two games as Naziha Alfred reached on a hit-by-pitch in game one, and Jasmine Blaxton and Elissa Rich each drew a walk in game two to reach base. In the circle for the Yellow Jackets, Elissa Rich struck out three batters through four innings of work in game two. 

Tomorrow, he Yellow Jackets will make the short trip to Jacksonville, FL for the beginning of an SIAC series against Edward Waters. The series opener is slated for Thursday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m.
