FORT VALLEY, G.A. --- Despite shooting 51% for the game, and scoring 46 points in the second-half, Allen men's basketball was unable to overcome Fort Valley State Monday, 80-79.
Allen jumped out to an early 7-0 lead three minutes into the game on a pair of shots from

G'Shan Aldridge with 18:23 to play, up 39-38. The remainder of the game never saw a lead larger than six points. With 52 seconds left, Allen led 78-73, yet FVSU managed to sink three shots in the final minute of action to win the game by one point.
Lacewell led the way for Allen with a new season-best of 21 points that included six made shots from distance.
G'Shan Aldridge and
Talton Jones joined Lacewell in double-figures with 19 points and 15 points, respectively.
