CARY, N.C. --- To begin their 2024 season, the Allen University men's cross country team traveled to Cary, North Carolina Friday Friday and competed in an 8k at the Cedric Walker HBCU Challenge. 

Zechariah Addison led Allen with a time of 32:40.2, placing him among the top-5 competitors from SIAC institutions. Following Addison was Marcellus Morris with a time of 34:23.9 and Tyrone Higgins at 34:33.5 to each place sixth and seventh, respectively, among SIAC competitors. 

Jerrell Baskins finished with a time of 37:41.4, Farrad Moore crossed the finish line at 38:13.3, and Jabari Moss clocked a time of 41:42.5 in the 8k race. 

The Yellow Jackets will be back in action tomorrow, Saturday, October 5 in Newberry, S.C. at the Newberry Invitational, hosted by Newberry College.
