Yellow Jackets Drop Home Match to Newberry

COLUMBIA, S.C. --- Allen University's women's soccer team was defeated by Newberry College Friday, 9-0. 

Tahlia Brooks led the Yellow Jackets with two shots in Friday's effort, followed by Tatyana Machado and Davanye' Kight each with one shot. Both of Brooks' shots were on goal. Rachel Rolle secured nine saves for Allen in goal, marking a new season-high for the junior keeper. 

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Sunday, October 20, at 3:00 p.m. as Allen hosts Shaw. Prior to the beginning of the match, four Allen seniors will be recognized for senior day.
