ATLANTA, GA --- Although Allen University Men's Basketball saw two players reach double-figures Monday night, it would not be enough as the Yellow Jackets were defeated at Clark Atlanta, 77-58. 

An early back-and-fourth battle saw the Yellow Jackets take an early lead, 5-3, two minutes into the contest on a three-point shot from Marc Raye Jr. Later in the first half, Allen responded to an small deficit as Nakia Johnson sank a jumper to tie the SIAC East division clash at 11-11 with under-14 minutes to play in the first half. For the remainder of the game however, Clark Atlanta would retake the lead and never relinquish it again. 

Leading the charge for Allen was the combination of sophomore guard Peyton Weathersby and junior point guard G'Shan Aldridge. Not only did the duo each record 10 points, but Weathersby would grab six rebounds while Aldridge dished out six assists in the loss. 

The Yellow Jackets turn their attention to their first home game in six weeks as Allen welcomes Fort Valley State to John Hurst Adams Gymnasium Saturday, January 20th at 4:00 p.m. Tickets are available now at www.auyellowjackets.com.
