2022-23 SIAC ALL-ACADEMIC HONORS ANNOUNCED
SIAC RELEASE
ATLANTA, Ga. (July 28, 2023) – A record high, 1,650 student-athletes, was named to the 2022-2023 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team for maintaining at least a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average throughout the 2022-23 academic year.

Student-athletes with a 3.2 or higher were considered for all-academic team honors. The number of student-athletes selected in each sport is determined by the number of positions usually involved in that sport. Â 59 students from 13 institutions recorded a 4.0 grade point average as well.
Allen had Seven student-athletes from four different sports with a 3.2 GPA named to the SIAC All-Academic Honoree Team. They include two from volleyball: rising seniors Natalia Maciejewska and Marlaysia Westbrook, two from women's basketball: rising sophomore Talayah Boxley and Ananda Mayhew while the men's basketball team also had two: sophomore Jaylen McIntyre and rising senior Tyriq McAdoo. Finally, the men's track and field team also had shotputter Jhyrique Mangum make the All-Conference Academic team as well.
Boxley, Mayhew, and Maciejewska are each majoring in Biology while McAdoo and Westbrook are each majoring in Sports Management and McIntyre and Mangum major in Business Administration.
The 95 AU student-athletes listed below all achieved at least a 3.0 GPA.
