Yellow Jackets Award Students at Annual Awards Banquet

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University Athletic Department recently held their annual Awards Banquet and handed out numerous team and specific sports awards.

Winning Team of the Year was Women's Basketball led by Coach Toccara Toland as they went 14-13 this season. Taking home the Female Athlete of the Year Award was Maliyah Spencer of the Volleyball team while All-American Michael Jackson of the Wrestling team won the Male Athlete of the Year.

Earning Coach of the Year was Wrestling's Eric Pack as he led his team to a 14-6 record, a top 3 finish at regionals, a top 20 finish at Nationals and two All-Americans. Taking home the athletic Employee of the Year was Mrs. Brittani Keaton, Director of Academic Success for Athletics while the AU Appreciation Award went to President Dr. Earnest McNealey.
