COLUMBIA, S.C. - Isaiah Green has been named the director of athletic communications at Allen University, as announced by athletic director Jasher Cox Wednesday morning.

"We are extremely excited to have Isaiah join the Allen University athletics family," expressed Cox on the hiring of Green. "His background will help us continue to promote our brand and programs at a very high level. He has a strong understanding of game day operations and knows exactly what it takes to increase our visibility."

In his role, Green will oversee all external communication within the athletic department, while also assisting with external and internal operations.

"I have always marveled at the decorated history Allen has as a premier institution here in the midlands," said Green. "Mr. Cox, along with the administration, have a tremendous vision for the athletic department at Allen, and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to help that vision come to fruition."

During his time at Georgia State, Green promoted Georgia State's first ever Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Defensive Player of the Year.

Prior to arriving in Atlanta, Green completed internships within the athletic communications departments at Duke and NC State. During his time at Duke, Green served as the secondary media contact for the Blue Devils women's soccer program that went on to reach the Elite Eight.
