COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Allen University Cross Country teams competed at nearby NAIA Columbia College on Saturday morning in the Akiah McMillan 8K Koala Invitational at the Par Tee Golf Center.

The Allen men finished 12th in the mostly Div. II race finishing just behind Coker, Lander, and Aiken. Two NC schools, Belmont Abbey and Pembroke finished 1-2 in the team standings while Benedict was 4th.

Allen was led by sophomore Jabari Moss finishing in a time of 41:13 to place 91st while right behind him was senior captain Daquan Brock in 41:15. Freshman CC Bailey then came next in 42:27 and he was followed 3 minutes later by fellow freshman Zalyn Myers in 45:28. Sophomore Preston Conner then finished out the race in 47:26.

The Yellow Jacket men will next compete in the Wingate 8K Stampede in Wingate, NC on Friday at 5 PM.
